The Deer Clan Bag - "Garden State of Oregon"

 April: Flower Moon [Ka-wo-ni]

The Deer Clan were the keepers of the Deer.  This clan is also part of my family heritage as well as the Wolf Clan.  

Clan color is Brown. Clan Wood is Oak.

The inspiration for this bandolier bag was from the Garden State of Oregon and all the flowers. Remembering the deer in my Grandfathers garden eating his roses. I had a close encounter with a deer when I was photographing an old barn. Grandma was trying to tell me there was a deer sniffing me while I was trying to focus in on the barn. I heard tapping on the car window as I turned the deer ran off.

This bag won first place at the 11 th Homecoming Art Show in Oklahoma in 2006.
